Amazon has the LE of Mars daybreak mispriced for 13.99. Go stock up now.

This is good because I picked up a copy of the regular volume 1 at Otakon, stupidly forgetting about the box. I must be getting old in my otakuhood, because I used to always remember those things...

08:48pm 12/02/2005
Details about the upcoming movie have been made in the March issue of Animage! The folks over at the FMA Fan site have translated what was said, and I'll post the details in the LJ CUT text below.

BE WARNED! DO NOT READ AHEAD IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE TV SERIES!!

FMA Movie DetailsCollapse )

Very interesting stuff there. I've become even more excited to see this movie now, if that's possible. Too bad it will be a couple years before I get the R1 DVD, as I imagine FUNI won't release it until the series has finished it's DVD run.

Eureka 7 updates
  jpine

10:06am 31/01/2005
Found some news about the upcoming Eureka 7. It looks like the show will be 30 minutes per episode and will air a total of 50 episodes over 4 "seasons". The time of airing is Sundays at 7AM, which I find a little odd as I would think that would be the young kids programming hour and I imagine ratings wouldn't be that good.

There also looks to be a game in the works.

Also, FMA will once again grace two covers in January. Here they are:

And although it hasn't been confirmed yet, there are some pics of the tin box floating around. The first image is what looks like the box top, which is probably a lid, or the spine.

And here is what might be one of the side images.

Scrapped Princess vol 1 Street Date!
  jpine

10:35pm 21/12/2004
  Scrapped Princess Vol. #1 (also w/ Artbox + Limited Edition Figure) - 75 minutes - $29.98/49.98 - 04/26/2005

And for those who forgot, I posted about the figure earlier.

I swore off boxes a while ago, I swear. Texhnolyze/Gungrave being the last ones I got suckered into. However, the BONES whore in me has me jumping at the chance to pick up the FMA and SutePrix vol 1 + Box option. It's really just because I want those BONES LE items. FMA comes with the OST (and tin case is nice) and SutePrix the figure. I'm not even sure what the hell I'll do with a figure that big. Probably take it to work and see what kind of reaction I get. So I'm only picking up a box if 1) it's a BONES show and 2) it has LE goodies of said BONES show. Slam Dunk would be the exception and thank god there's no box option.

Also, I'm done bitching/debating/worrying about the whole eps/disc/price issue. It really just ends up with me being annoyed and I want to enjoy anime and not worry about a few dollars.

FMA Premium Announcement
  jpine

09:34pm 24/11/2004
  From the official website

We are pleased to announce that the premium item in the Collector's Edition Metal Box 1 will be the TV Animation Fullmetal Alchemist Original Soundtrack 1. Tracks included are the TV versions of the first opening song "Melissa" by Porno Graffitti and the first ending song "Kesenai Tsumi" by Nana Kitade as well as the beautiful orchestrations composed by Michiru Oshima and performed by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra.

I was just listening to some MP3's I got at work today. I can't wait. Pre-ordered my tin the day it was announced. ^_^

And that first ED song is really starting to sound good on my ears. It's always stuck in my head.
